In January, I asked for your advice on whether to do a more modern (wonky) version of a log cabin
quilt. Your comments helped me be brave enough to go for it! And not go for it. (I'm wayward, what can I say?)
This is how the quilt turned out:
Front- wonky log cabin. Nine wonky blocks with a fussy cut center.
Back- a big, traditional log cabin block to show I can cut straight.
I did free form motion quilting with a rayon thread on the blocks.
I stippled the sashing.
This is my first quilt with my new machine, and I loved it.

It looks even better in person! It is a great quilt I'm sure that baby will love! It will be passed down in their family!
The quilting is amazing, Mother dear! So glad you love your new machine.
So cute! Love it, Mom!
