J Dawgs Sauce Recipe:
- 3/4 cup ketchup
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tsp. cider vinegar
- 1 tsp. soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- Use bratwurst or another good thick hot dog.
- Grill the dogs and toast the buns
- Use sauteed onions and peppers to add to the flavor
- Don't use any other sauce.
- Cut the dogs up inside the bun so the sauce gets into the hot dog
- Prepare the sauce ahead of time and refrigerate
I made bratwursts the other day for us and my in-laws and it was a huge hit. They were putting the sauce on their rice too!
**After looking this up I realized they now have two real store fronts and an awesome website found here. If you live close go! You can purchase this special sauce in stores.

Obviously, I've never had one as I've never been to Utah, but that sounds so yummy. I will have to make that sauce pronto. So yummy.
These sound good.
I didn't eat hotdogs for over 5 yrs because I saw how they were made.
Then I had a hot dog at a local vendor....and my ban on hot dogs were over, lol.
Sounds awesome!
gosh, I miss Jdawgs. Thanks for sharing
