Cauldron Cakes
- 2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup softened butter or 1/2 cup softened margarine
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon ginger
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Mix eggs, sugar, butter, cinnamon, ginger, and vanilla in large mixing bowl on whip for 2 minutes.
- Mix other solid ingredients and milk in gradually in the large mixing bowl.
- Put batter in muffin tins filling them about half full. These shouldn't be too full, more authentic of course. Bake for 25 minutes.
- Decorate with sprinkles and frosting if desired.

We love Harry Potter here! I have been "pinning" all kinds of crafts and recipes to have a whole HP themed day with the kids on a rainy day this summer :)
WE have Harry Potter marathons here as well. I will have to get Kristy to make these for the next one ;)
YUM! I never thought Cauldron cakes sounded good----Maybe Hagrid made them and that altered my view. These do look good!
They were yummy! I don't know if you could say I "watched" Harry Potter all those nights. Seems like I always fell asleep during some part of it.
We will have to have BluRay marathon, now!
I haven't seen Harry Potter, my boys are just about old enough and I can't wait to see it with them!
I love Harry Potter too! This is a great recipe and I'll be pinning it on my All Thing Harry Pinterest board.
Stopping by from Tatertots and Jello link party.
my kids will love this idea!
My oldest Little Chef is just getting to the age to enjoy Harry Potter. I will pin this for later. I would love for you to link up at Fabulous Thursday. http://www.fivelittlechefs.com/2012/06/fantastic-thursday-link-party-1.html
