It has finally turned cool enough in NC to make me do the seasonal clothing switch. I pulled out my sweatshirts and sweaters and greeted them like old friends. Old meaning wrinkly (though I had folded them very carefully) and a little stale smelling. I could have washed everything, but I was too lazy to do that. So, I used my favorite method: The DRYER. I dampened a few of the clothes and added a wet towel that I had pour about 1/2 ounce of liquid fabric softener on. I put the clothes through a dryer cycle and VOILA: Fresh smelling and wrinkle-free (mostly) clothes.
One great every day hint I love is making my own wrinkle release spray. I used to buy Downey Wrinkle Releaser, but it is a little pricey and sometimes hard to find. Now I just add a couple ounces of liquid fabric softener to about 10 ounces of water in a spray water. When my knits or cottons are wrinkled, I spray and smooth out lots of the wrinkles. If you want to wear dry clothes, you should do this the evening before. I keep a bottle in my laundry room and spray my husbands dress shirts when they come out of the dryer slightly wrinkled.
Try it. It works.

I do this too! I don't even use anything with the clothes. I just throw them in on the refresh cycle and let them go! Love it!
Good to know! Great tip.
